 How to Find Your PC Name
The easiest way of finding the name of the computer is to lock your
workstation and then unlock it.
To lock your workstation:
- Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete keys.
- Click on Lock Workstation.
- Click on OK and press enter.
To unlock your workstation:
- Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete keys.
- In the Login dialog box, click on the gray arrow at the end of Domain
box.
- The second choice is the machine name (shaler-01).
- Enter your Windows NT password if this is a staff computer.
- Click on OK or press enter.
